Church Shines With LED Lights

An Episcopal church in Northeast Cobb County Georgia is expected to save almost 94% on there lighting costs by switching to LED lighting. The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation made the switch to energy efficient LED lighting with the help of a grant from Georgia Interfaith Power and Light, a non-profit interfaith ministry devoted to deepening the connection between ecology and faith. There Power Wise Energy Audits are available to help congregations of every faith save energy and money through energy efficiency.The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation spent almost $8,000 for the lighting upgrade with half of the costs coming from Georgia Interfaith Power and Light.
