Clothing Company Cuts Lighting Costs

The M.J. Soffe Company is reducing its energy and maintenance costs at its Fayetteville, NC headquarters by switching to LED lighting. By retrofitting lighting at its warehouse and other buildings, the company will reduce its lighting costs by 65 percent and cut its overall electricity costs by almost 20 percent. The new fixtures will also reduce cooling costs by eliminating the heat generated by the older lights and improve safety by providing better illumination. Maintenance costs are also expected to fall due to the extremely long life of the LED lights. The reduction in electricity use will also cut M.J. Soffe’s carbon footprint by 846 metric tons. Save money while you cut your carbon footprint by installing underwater LED lights on your boat or dock.
